ESRN Postdoc Retreat 2017

The Environmental Sciences Research Network (ESRN) of the University of Vienna aims at bringing together researchers from various disciplines – from social sciences and the humanities to natural sciences – to jointly develop new perspectives and creative ideas for future environmental research. In summer 2017 the ESRN organises a postdoc retreat in order to build bridges across the postdoctoral community in environmental sciences. The overall goal is to provide young researchers from the ESRN member institutions with opportunities to network, to sensitize for interdisciplinary research approaches, to encourage exchange and communication, including guidance in science communication.

  • When? 13th – 15th September 2017 (2 nights)
  • Where? WasserCluster Lunz, Dr. Carl Kupelwieser Promenade 5, A-3293 Lunz am See, Austria (approx. 150 km from Vienna)
  • Who? Postdocs of the active ESRN member institutions of the University of Vienna; participation is limited to max. 20 postdocs; candidates must have a PhD degree and not more than six years postdoc experience (PhD plus 6 years, waiting periods such as maternity leave are excluded); for formal reasons all applicants must be employed at the University of Vienna during the duration of the retreat – if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible - first come first serve (pls. have a look at the announcement for details)
